Positions at eBev:
Ian is an experienced leader who comes to eBev with 25 years of experience in business with the last 10 in Digital, eCommerce and senior management roles. Ian holds a Bachelor of Business and trained as a Chartered Accountant before moving into operational roles in large businesses like Optus and Salmat. Outside of work, Ian enjoys cooking for friends and family and golf whenever he can get out.
Prior to joining eBev in 2016 Cassandra gained experience working in the Sydney wholesale beverage industry for eight years and is passionate about food, wine and hospitality. She holds a Bachelor of Business and has completed WSET Level 3 Award in Wine and Spirits. Cassandra loves the outdoors and her regular fitness activities are early morning rowing and evening runs.
Jason is an experienced lead developer with previous experience in technical leadership roles on Dimmi, Choosi, Newsboost (Media Monitors) and MasterCard development projects. Jason is driven by innovative solutions and products and although new to the hospitality and wholesale beverage environment, he enjoys solving the industry specific challenges. Jason enjoys developing pc games, gaming and motorcycles.
Turhan has joined eBev with an impressive history in product development working the past 10 years as a full-stack developer on various sports sites including AFL, NRL, HorseRacing and BigpondSports. In his work life he is most interested in analysing data and writing software to automate and simplify processes and is already a valued member of the eBev team. Programming is his passion and cooking when he has the time. Loves wine but has a special penchant for tequila based cocktails.
Regan has a background in IT project delivery for over 13 years. He specialised in Telecommunications roles, including Vodafone and major CRM and billing transformation projects and in Gaming and Hospitality with the Federal Group. He enjoys all things to do with wine, especially writing and tasting. He holds a WSET level 3 in Wines & Spirits and has completed the Advanced Wine Assessment Course run by the Australian Wine Research Institute. He loves keeping fit through cross training, running and martial arts and is an occasional trombone player.
Originally a designer, Chris cut his Excel teeth working with bulk copywriting for AdWords and then shifted the focus of his fastidious wrath into the ecommerce space, where he has happily resided since 2008. Don't get him started on movies, music or trivia: You'll never get away.
eBev welcomes Nick to the New South Wales team in a Business Development Management role. Nick is a perfect fit for eBev with his career so far centering around delivering technology systems to the hospitality industry. His past appointments include roles at food delivery, data and point of sales companies. In his down time Nick is an avid record collector, loves to travel and is a keen diver. Of course he is also passionate about food and wine.
Kathryn Cromarty has joined eBev in the role of Business Development Manager in Victoria. She brings a strong hospitality management, sales and most recently a digital background to eBev. Kathryn has built a great network of relationships within the Melbourne hospitality scene with both venues and suppliers. She is passionate about wine and loves discovering new restaurants, a certified foodie. In her down time Kathryn loves to play basketball, head to the beach or go for a run with her beloved dogs. An industry stalwart with more than 20 years experience Rowan has joined eBev's Victorian contingent as a Business Development Manager. Though Rowan's first passion was engineering and he earned a Masters in Science (mathematics) his resume reads like a food bloggers wish list with significant stints at Nobu, The Mayfair, Cutler & Co and Pearl Restaurant and Bar. Also incredibly, leading kitchens in the Rica Hotel Arctic in Norway for a year and opening his own restaurant in Armidale. Rowan couldn't be more pleased to join eBev as it marries his experience in hospitality and computer science perfectly. His current hobbies include a passion for old motorcycles and the open road.
Aleta earned her stripes in the Start-up environment by helping launch Airbnb in Australia and New Zealand. Her most recent role being a Partnerships Manager working on Partner API Integrations in a Travel Tech start-up specialising in the MaaS (mobility as a service space). She enjoys baking in her spare time, hopefully for the eBev staff, and travelling where her interest takes her.
Julian has joined eBev whilst completing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance and Marketing at Macquarie University. It is his first jaunt into the Wine Industry and so far he is enjoying it very much. He is an avid Football (Soccer) player and fan and also plays Tennis on the weekends with friends. He has a passion for the water when the weather permits.
Anna has joined eBev in her final year of a Commerce degree majoring in Marketing. Her work experience is peppered with various roles in hospitality where she developed her love for food and wine. She enjoys going out with her family and friends often and taking part in activities that involve wine. In her spare time she loves going to the gym, watching sports and spending as much time as possible with her spoodle Lucy.
Sahra has 14 years experience working in the wine and hospitality industries across a variety of roles including wine retail, wholesale wine sales and hospitality operations. Sahra recently completed her Diploma of Marketing fueling her entrepreneurial spirit, she has a keen interest in startup’s and how technology is being used to change the way people behave and is passionate about wine. When not at eBev Sahra can be found at the beach with her daughters, cooking anything from scratch and bushwalking when the weather is fine.
