eBev launches trade credit service
eBev has launched a new trade credit service, eBev Trade, which guarantees payment to suppliers within three days and aims to reduce credit risk and enable redirection of resources to business growth activities for beverage suppliers.
eBev Trade adds credit and payment capabilities to eBev’s order management platform and will see eBev and its finance solutions partner, will take over responsibility for managing all invoicing and collection processes.
Ian Harris, CEO of eBev, said: “After the challenges of 2020, it is imperative for suppliers to maximise the upcoming Summer and Christmas season.
“Imagine reducing costs and risk, plus having all the cash from your November and December orders in your bank before New Year. Suppliers can now do this with eBev Trade.”
eBev Trade will provide a single creditor option for venues, reducing the need to open and manage accounts with multiple suppliers.
Instead venues will be able to purchase from multiple suppliers in a single order on a single account, with suppliers being paid within three days. The service also offers flexible payment options so venues can take advantage of upfront payment or settle with a single payment on 30-day terms, without the requirement for direct debit.
eBev is also offering Cash for Christmas – a sign-up incentive of $50 off each of the first the orders through eBev Trade – if enrolled before December 31st, 2020.
Harris added: “The purpose of eBev Trade is to enable more efficient trading relationships between venues and beverage suppliers.
“Our experience, size and scale mean eBev is uniquely positioned in terms of our understanding and capability to deliver on this opportunity to make a genuine positive impact in the industry. To support the launch, eBev is offering a Fast Starter Bonus to reward suppliers that are early supporters of this initiative.”
The eBev platform currently offers 65,000 products from 650 suppliers and the addition of eBev Trade aims to help producers, suppliers, distributors & venues to not only survive, but to thrive.
